VI Implementation / Brand Risk Assessment

​For Super Bowl LVIII, M&M’S® teamed up with BBDO New York and Team Omnicom to launch “Almost Champions,” a playful, self-aware spot starring Scarlett Johansson alongside NFL legends Dan Marino, Terrell Owens, and Bruce Smith. Airing during the first quarter on February 11, 2024, the ad humorously embraces the idea of being a runner-up—introducing the “M&M’S Almost Champions Ring of Comfort,” a lab-made diamond ring infused with M&M’S Peanut Butter (because comfort food should be wearable). Blending M&M’S signature humor with a message of belonging, the campaign proved that win or lose, fun always wins.

To showcase the partnership between Mars Snacking and Disney. M&M’S® teamed up with The &Partnership, Martians to create a high-energy campaign built around a supermarket chase, where Red M&M takes on a fearless competitor in a playful race. The ad promotes a chance to win a Marvel adventure to Disneyland Paris, blending stunts, VFX, and humour to showcase M&M’S signature fun.

For Halloween 2024, M&M’S® and Ring teamed up with T&Pm, EssenceMediacom, and Ketchum to deliver a frightfully fun campaign. Through a limited-time Video Doorbell takeover, visitors were greeted by Red M&M’s cheeky Quick Replies, turning trick-or-treating into a playful challenge. Encouraging user-generated content and influencer collaborations, the campaign sparked social conversation and brought M&M’S signature humor to doorsteps across the UK.

For Holiday 2024, M&M’S® and kate spade new york teamed up to launch our first-ever candy-inspired capsule collection, blending fashion and fun. The limited-edition range features playful handbags, jewelry, and accessories inspired by M&M’S iconic colors and packaging, bringing a sweet twist to personal style. Available from November 1, the collaboration connects both brands’ love for joy, color, and self-expression, making it a must-have for fashion and candy lovers alike.
