For Maltesers’ latest campaign, we brought its signature lighthearted humour to a bold new topic—later-life sex. Created in partnership with AMV BBDO, the ads celebrate women embracing life on their own terms, featuring witty, no-nonsense conversations that flip the script on societal expectations. With Sebastian Thiel directing, the campaign continues Maltesers’ tradition of tackling taboos with humour, reinforcing the message that there’s no “right” way to live—just your way.

We believe in finding humor in life’s awkward moments, and our “Look on the Light Side” campaign does just that. Created with AMV BBDO, these spots turn everyday family interactions into brilliantly cringe-worthy comedy—because sometimes, the best way to handle embarrassment is to lean into it. Inspired by real stories from women, the films feature a son struggling to introduce his mum’s new partner and a niece expertly flipping the script on her nosey aunt. With Sebastian Thiel at the helm, we brought these moments to life with the signature Maltesers wit—because laughter (and chocolate) makes everything better.

We wanted to introduce Maltesers Dark with a touch of drama—so we turned to CGI to create a sleek, visually striking online film. Set against a moody backdrop, the asset features a Maltesers Dark pack on the left, while a single dark chocolate-coated Malteser rolls into the spotlight, stealing the show. As it moves across the screen, the lighting builds suspense, leading to the bold tagline: “Feed Your Dark Side.” A simple, yet elegantly playful way to showcase our new indulgent twist on a classic.
